Mississippi voters affirmed our historic state flag in a statewide referendum. Politicians later disregarded that vote and adopted their own replacement without allowing the people to decide.

The People's Flag is historic.
The Tyrants' Flag is phony.

I call it the Tyrants' Flag because politicians cast aside the choice Mississippi voters made in 2001 and denied the People's Flag a place on the 2020 ballot.

Let our response be peaceful, lawful and unmistakable: display the People's Flag in one million more physical and digital places than the Tyrants' Flag.
